Condensed Classification of Health Interventions (CCHI)
The National Centre for Classification in Health (NCCH) Australia
is pleased to announce that the Condensed Classification of
Health Interventions (CCHI) is now available.
CCHI was created by the NCCH for use with the ICD-10 classification in regions
that need a short and simple classification of procedures and interventions.
It contains surgical and non surgical interventions. CCHI is derived from the Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI) Fourth Edition – 2004.
CCHI is fully indexed for specific procedures and contains approximately 1,400
codes in its tabular list as well as inclusion terms. It follows the structural
and indexing conventions of ACHI.
CCHI is available at no cost to users but you are required to
register.
Upon registration you will receive password access to
download
the CCHI file and an authorisation key via e-mail.
